Vouched App, Inc. (d/b/a Candor) · Effective June 13, 2026
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Candor you represent that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you are not barred from using the Service under applicable law. The Service is currently offered as an invitation-only private beta in the United States.
Candor is built on real identity. You agree to register and use the Service under your real name and to keep your profile information accurate. You are responsible for your account and for activity that occurs under it, and for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity or affiliations.
Vouching for and nominating other people are core features. When you provide information about another person, you take on real responsibilities.
When you write a vouch, attribute traits, nominate someone, or otherwise submit information about another person, you represent and agree that:
If you nominate or refer someone who is not a Candor member, you confirm you have a good-faith basis to introduce them and that doing so is consistent with their reasonable expectations. Do not submit another person’s contact information or personal details that you are not entitled to share.
Some nomination features let you choose whether the nominee is notified. Using these features does not change your responsibilities under Section 3.1, and we may notify or surface activity to relevant users as needed for safety and integrity.
You agree not to:
We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that we believe violate these Terms or create risk to others.
You retain ownership of the content you create. To operate the Service, you grant Candor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide and improve the Service, consistent with your visibility settings and our Privacy Policy. This license ends when your content or account is deleted, except for content retained as described in the Privacy Policy (for example, safety records and backups) and copies others have lawfully retained.
Important safety disclaimer. Candor facilitates introductions, including for dating. We do not conduct background or identity-verification checks on users beyond the features described in the Service.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, online and in person. Vouches reflect the opinions of the people who write them; they are not a guarantee of any person’s character, safety, or conduct. Use good judgment, especially before meeting anyone in person. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim liability for interactions between users.
During the private beta, the Service may include credits, boosts, and a marketplace.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or harm to others, or as otherwise reasonably necessary to operate the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content license limits, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content, vouch, or introduction is accurate or reliable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Candor and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service or interactions with other users.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Candor from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other reasonable means and update the “Effective” date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
